Due to the spread of the coronavirus, FRID Begravning has currently changed routines.

We follow the guidelines, which include the Swedish Funeral Service's Association and the Public Health Authority, and hope in this way to help reduce the spread of infection and make everyone feel safe. Our offices are staffed and we want you to call us when you need our help so we can guide you right. Of course, we book visits with us at the office, that suits you best.

We choose to greet orally without handshakes and hugs.

Of course, we do not allow anyone with symptoms of illness to work.

FRID – Contemporary Funeral Services Combining tradition with compassion

We established FRID, which means peace of mind in Swedish after having both initially come into contact with the funeral business because of the death of someone close. We felt that this is something that we all, like it or not will have to deal with at some point in our lives. What brought us together at the beginning was our genuine desire to make this very difficult time a little bit easier.

We want to help people when they find themselves in a situation it is hard to cope with. We believe it is our responsibility to do everything we possibly can to understand- and meet- your unique and specific needs.

It is of the utmost importance for us that our work is carried out with warmth, dignity and commitment and this is what in the end makes it possible to keep the high quality of the services we offer.

Bearing in mind that people can be sad, confused and sometimes angry after a bereavement it is extremely important that they can meet with someone who understands, listens and can make suggestions, but most of all to meet with someone who shows empathy.

Our premises are quite different from other undertakers’. We have created a warm and welcoming environment, when you walk into Frid funeral services you’ll feel more like you are entering someone’s home than a funeral parlour.

A funeral puts people to the test. No two funerals are the same and no commission is too big or too small. A modern funeral is based on putting your trust in the funeral director; and you will find it a relief when you hand over the reins to us.

And it is just when you are grieving that there are thousands of things to be organised; a place for the ceremony, a celebrant, contact with relatives and friends, the funeral ceremony, memorial service, floral tributes, casket, funeral announcement, obituary, programme, burial and much more.

We can take care of all of these things for you. Ensure that everything runs smoothly and that your loved one’s funeral is a memorable occasion.

All commissions are built on confidence, with a clear quotation before we start and equally clear accounting when the commission is completed. We would like to help you again should the need arise.
